This was another personal interest of mine brought to life in a professional way. I was to Illustrate any person in the world and I chose my favorite horror author H.P Lovecraft... (Sorry Edgar Allen Poe). He was a Rhode Island born writer from the 1920s known for creating fantastically horrific creatures that inspired a slew of contemporary creations like the Alien movies and our favorite undersea ship captain Davey Jones. I used a NY Times style portrait magazine layout celebrating his colorful life and career.
